From east to west, the central Greece is consisted by the Attica promontory – near Athens; the Euboea (Evvoia) island - just northward ; Boeotia; Focida - more mountainous with the Mount Parnassus ; and in north the Phtiotide – agricultural ; Etolia and Eurytania - wooded mountains.
Attic and Boeotia were in the center of ancient Greece, as attested by many vestiges which reached us, more or less well preserved : with the great Athens, the temples of the Sounion Cap, Heraion and Brauron, the holy sanctuary of Delphi.
