Tinos is located between Andros and Mykonos islands, with a surface of 195 km² for 7750 inhabitants, dominated by Exomvourgo rock with 729 m.
The island do not know yet international tourism, having few ancient monuments and the pebble beaches in general.
Tinos is a place of pilgrimage for the orthodox Greeks, called "island of the Virgin", it attracts many people on March 25 (festival of the Annunciation) and especially on August 15 (feast of the Assumption).
The Ionian ones would have colonized the island towards 1000 before our era. In the mythology, Tinos was the island of Eole, the god of the wind.
